Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Worldwide Music School website and portals at worldwidemusicschool.app (the "Service"), operated by World Wide Music School ("WWMS," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

The Service lets families browse and enroll in music classes, lets teachers manage their class rosters and attendance, and lets managers/admins schedule classes and staff accounts. Some features — including account sign-in — may use Google Sign-In; your use of Google Sign-In is also subject to Google's own Terms of Service.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. Family accounts must be created and controlled by an adult guardian on behalf of any student(s) they enroll — students do not receive their own login. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Enrollment, Scheduling, and Attendance

Class availability, schedules, and attendance policies (including makeup and cancellation rules) are set by WWMS staff and may change from time to time. The Service is a tool for managing that scheduling; it does not itself guarantee a particular teacher, time slot, or class outcome.

4. Payments

Paid enrollments are billed through Stripe. By enrolling in a paid class, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis for as long as the enrollment continues. Card payments may include a processing surcharge (disclosed at checkout) that does not apply to bank-account (ACH) payments. Refunds and cancellations follow the billing policy communicated to you at enrollment or by WWMS staff. You're responsible for keeping your payment method up to date.

5. SMS Messaging Terms

If you actively opt in on our SMS program page, Worldwide Music School may send recurring conversational and informational text messages about lessons, scheduling, enrollment, attendance, billing, and your account. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP at any time to opt out and HELP for help, or contact support@worldwidemusicschool.app. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization;
• interfere with or disrupt the Service; or
• upload content that is abusive, harassing, or violates another person's rights.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Content You Submit

You're responsible for the accuracy of information you submit (such as student details, progress notes, or messages). You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant us a license to use it as needed to operate the Service.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third parties, including Google (sign-in) and Stripe (payments). Your use of those integrations is also subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policy. We aren't responsible for the practices of those third parties.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WWMS will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the Service and ask us to close your account at any time, subject to any outstanding billing obligations.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms. We will update the effective date above when we make changes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where WWMS operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
